Baubling
There will be a parlor with games of skill and chance. There will be opportunities to wager your baubles in good-natured gambling.
We will be offering several bags of notable and special baubles for sale for $5 a bag at the event. (Those that have small items of interest, be they unique tokens from SCA experiences or well loved and traveled baubles from the gaming community, and would like to donate to this cause, please speak to His Excellency Diego de Palma, mka Benjamin Dean Doggett.)
Free bauble bags will be available as well for those that wish to start their collection and start playing at games. We will also be hosting a fundraising chess tournament with a $5 buy-in with a fabulous prize. Participants are welcome to come and bring their own historical games to share. We look forward to playing with all of you!
Fashion Show
Have you wanted to showcase a piece to the wider art community without the pressure of a competition? Do you want a way to give back to Caid’s arts & sciences community while also displaying art? Do you want a long term project with community support? Then we have an opportunity for you! Muse’s Masque is hosting a runway show and artisan showcase to benefit Caid’s underfunded arts community. Artisans can either be sponsored to create a piece that is showcased at the Muse’s Masque Fashion Show by someone who donates at least $50 on their behalf and/or donate an unfitted piece such as an accessory to be showcased and silent auctioned off. All proceeds go directly to supporting the Arts (and thus the artisans) within our wonderful kingdom. We’ll start the bidding at $50. You can sign up for the fashion show once you buy your tickets. The show will be limited to twenty walks due to time constraints and other Masque activities, so sign up early and showcase your progress at events throughout the year! We have classes and workshops planned to support artisans who are interested in participating, but may want or need help to actualize what they’ve dreamed up. Artisans in need of additional assistance should reach out to Ludwig Hebenstreit von Augspurg (who is findable on Discord as ZeBrashaw and as Ezekiel Bradshaw-Little on Facebook). We may be able to help, or connect you to the right expert. The theme of the show is “The Florentine Renaissance.” We encourage people to be on theme, but it’s more important that you’re inspired! So, come showcase your skills. You can walk your piece down the runway or include a model as part of your plan or team. See you on the runway!

Patron’s Roll of Arms
Your name and arms will painted by Caid’s scribes and displayed prominently at the event on a Roll of Arms. It can include a coronet, wreath, or cap of maintenance (where applicable) and can also reference your chosen affiliations (barony, household, etc.) so long as there’s a applicable registered badge registered with the College of heralds. A preferences form will be sent with your patron ticket receipt.
