This Opal Anniversary will mark the completion of their journey and the jubilant investiture of their Heirs, Eli and Eleanor, as the newest Baron and Baroness of Starkhafn. Join Eli and Eleanor as they cheer on the entrants of the Baronial Championship contests.

After Court - Tourneys will commence for all marshal forms

COMBAT SCENARIOS: Warriors of sword and blade will challenge the other combatants to vie for the Baronial Championships in Armored, Rapier and Youth Combat.
A&S: Artisans come to share your body of work in Arts & Sciences; the winner will be titled Flame Artisan.

From the South: Take your best route to Las Vegas, from there take I-15 North. Exit at Craig Road (Exit 48), head West (left turn). Travel about 3.5 miles, turn right onto Camino al Norte. Turn right at W. Lone Mountain (the next traffic light). The park entrance will be on the right. After crossing the bridge, turn left into the parking lot. WHERE: Hickey Park, Hickey Park Drive, Hanford, CA 93230The Barony of Nordwache invites the populace of Caid to join us for the celebration of our 42nd Baronial Anniversary Protectorate Tournament. This event is full of great things in a wonderful, shaded park. Activities include camping, Baronial Champion tournaments for armored combat, target archery (including crossbow!), thrown weapons, and A&S competition, Lunch fundraiser, Silent auction, and Partial Potluck feast (more on this later).
SCHEDULE:
Friday
1:00pm: Site and gate opens.
Archery Practice in the Evening.Saturday
8:00am: List opens.
10:00am-ish: Opening court.
Presentation of the consorts.
30 minutes after court: The day’s activities begin.
Noon to 2:00pm: Lunch fundraiser. Price TBD
4:00pm: A&S competitions and silent auction closes.
5:00pm: Closing court.
6:30pm: Potluck Feast. Bring your own meat to cook, your own drink, and a side dish to share. (please see link below for sign ups)Sunday

SITE INFORMATION: This is a public park. Dogs are NOT allowed in the park. If you are bringing a service dog, please remember that all ADA and city laws must be followed pertaining to service dogs. Fires must be at least 12" off the ground and water and/or a fire extinguisher to be kept nearby. Please keep tent stakes shorter than 9 inches.
ARMORED TOURNAMENT: The Champion of Nordwache for armored fighters will be fought in two bear pits of predetermined length. Fighters will receive points for wins. The top two winners of each bear pit will meet in semifinals to determine the Champion for the day.
THROWN WEAPONS: Thrown Weapons is being hosted and marshaled by Lord Conall Murphy. More information to follow
ARCHERY: Everyone come out and have some fun!

- Youth Arts and Sciences (13 and under): Something Blue and Gold
- Arts and Sciences: Recycled or Remade Item. Include a picture or description of what it looked like before being repurposed into your documentation. Throw the theme out the window! (Item must have been made within the past 90 days!)

- Cooking: A German Dish or Treat. Ingredients list required.
- Bardic: Rebirth or Renewal.

Are you fascinated by historical culinary arts, food, and brewing? Eager to dive into the origins of pre-17th Century cuisine, whether hands-on in the kitchen or in a classroom with others who share your passion? The Kingdom of Caid is excited to host the West Coast Culinary Symposium, happening April 25-27, 2025 at Camp de Benneville Pines.
This two-day event offers a rich blend of historical cooking classes, delicious food and of course our keynote speaker. Whether you’re staying for the full weekend or joining us just for Saturday, it’s the perfect chance to geek out about all things culinary and connect with fellow enthusiasts throughout the Known World. Coming all the way from the EU, the keynote speaker for this year is Hanna Tunberg, author of “An Early Meal a Viking Age Cookbook and Culinary Odyssey.”
