The Two Northern Baronies of Nordwache and Wintermist invites the populace to join us for our first Fire And Ice Target Tourney for Ranged Weapons. 
This event is TWO FULL DAYS of great things in a tree and grass filled park. Activities include camping, target archery (including a night shoot!), thrown weapons, A&S competition, and more to be arranged. Come join in a weekend of ranged weapons fun, and maybe you may become a Champion for the Barony of Wintermist!

SCHEDULE:
Friday
10am: Park site opens for general use.
12pm: Site opens for camping setup. Gate opening at Exchequer’s pleasure.

Archery Practice in the late afternoon, before dark.

Saturday
9am: Event Gate & List opens.
10am-ish: Opening court at the Nordwache Excellencies pleasure.

15 minutes after court: The day’s activities begin.
3pm: A&S competitions and silent auction closes
4pm: Closing court for Barony of Nordwache.

Evening, Archery Night Shoot.

Sunday
9am: Event Gate & List opens.
10am: Tournaments will start, or at Their Wintermist Excellencies pleasure.
3pm: Champions should be announced by 3pm so there is time for tear down.
6pm: Site closes. Everyone must be off site by this time.

EVENT REGISTRATION:
Camping: Adult Event Registration: $30, Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $20. Children 17 and under are guests of the barony.
Day Trip: Adult Event Registration $25, Adult Member Discount Event Registration $15. Children 17 and under are guests of the barony.
Cash or Checks accepted at gate. Make checks payable to: “SCA, Inc./Barony of Nordwache”. Parking is included in the registration.

SITE INFORMATION/RESTRICTIONS: This is a public park. Dogs are NOT allowed in the park. If you are bringing a service dog, please remember that all ADA and city laws must be followed pertaining to service dogs. Fires must be at least 12" off the ground and water and/or a fire extinguisher to be kept nearby. Please keep tent stakes shorter than 9 inches. Evening park gate lock will be a Hastings combo.

ARCHERY: Lists for archery will be run for Target Archery, both adult and youth, and Crossbow, adult only. As the ranges allow, additional contests may be held if there’s time. Plans for Saturday are being made for interesting novelty targets, royal rounds, and something for combat archers to enjoy shooting at. Saturday night will be a fun Night Shoot, with glow in the dark plans afoot. More info to come.

On Sunday, Join Their Excellencies Alphonsus and Shego on the range as they search for their champions in Target Archery! Wintermist's target archery will be a few novelty targets, which will be determined with the help of Their Excellencies. Tournament will start at 10am or at Their Excellencies pleasure. Marshals for Archers is THLord Henri Dumas, and HE Brig inghean Uateir.

THROWN WEAPONS: Thrown Weapons list is for both adults and youth. Saturday’s thrown weapons will be for fun and light hearted competition.

On Sunday, Join Their Excellencies Alphonsus and Shego on the range as they search for their champions in Thrown Weapons! Wintermist Thrown Weapons championship will likely be a royal round, possibly with the addition of bolas. Marshals for Thrown Weapons is Baron Ragenald de Holecumb, and HE Brig inghean Uateir.

ARTS AND SCIENCES: Nordwache A&S Themes on Saturday, have been declared by Her Excellency Siri for this event:

Isles Anniversary 2025: An Ottoman Garden Party

WHEN: Saturday October 18th, 2025 9am-5pm

The Shire of the Isles welcomes all to enjoy our hospitality as we celebrate our anniversary in finest form: with food!  Relax, feast, and play!   Join us for poetry and song, for games on the lawn, for a hunt to delight young and old, for the chance to display your martial finesse, or simply for conversation and companionship.
