Come and join us for our bi-annual Wintermist fighter practice and demo!
When do you ask? This coming April the 30th, on Thursday at 7:00pm. Where? At the lovely Almondale Park: 5501 Verdugo Lane, Bakersfield, 93312. We are looking for people to come out and help support the barony in our most important task, recruitment! You don’t have to be a fighter to attend, in fact I am encouraging all of the barony, our artists and musicians, scribes and storytellers and anyone interested and willing to come on out and bring your SCA passions with you. So pull out your drums, your weaving, your favorite garb, and join us at the park. I
I’ll be bringing the Chatelaine set up, along with an extra table to help display items you might wish to show off. Extra pavilions are welcome to help draw attention, and please remember, wear garb. Hope to see you there! Oh and of course I’ll bring the cookies.

Greetings Wintermist. We are in the process of planning our next Fighter Practice/Demo. The place: Almondale Park 5501 Verdugo Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93312. When: Thursday April 30th. We are looking for individuals to come out and help promote Wintermist and the SCA, by dressing in garb, bringing out your A&S activities or music, or simply hang out and enjoy the evening with friends. I’ll be bringing our little Chatelaine pavilion, along with business cards, pamphlets and other materials. Remember everyone is a chatelaine, so if you see someone looking on with interest, please go up and introduce yourself, tell them who we are and what’s going on. Or you can always direct them over to the chatelaine pavilion
More info will follow the closer we get to the event.
