Baronial awards

Through great works in service, arts, or martial.  inidviduals withing the society can earn awards.  At the Kingdom level these awards can change titles, read more here.

But at the regional level you can achieve awards amongst your group for similar feats of effort.  Below is a list of current awards.  To recommend an individual for an award you can email the Baronage here.

Order of the Athena

Baronial Service Award

Established in 1974 by Baron Piers Howells de Cambria and Baroness Ximena Aubel de Cambria for service to the Barony.
Blazon: Gules, the head of Pallas Athena couped and facing sinister argent wearing a full-faced crested Grecian helmet raised Or.
*Augmentation to the Order of Athena: Given by Their Excellencies to those whose outstanding service has continued after initial receipt of the Order of Athena.

Order of the Seraph

Baronial Fighting Award

Established in 2003 by Baron Jason Thomas the Wanderer and Baroness Morgaine FitzStephen to recognize excellence in the martial arts.
Blazon: Gules, a seraph’s head Or faced proper.
*Augmentation to the Order of the Seraph: Given by Their Excellencies to those whose excellence upon the field of honor has continued after initial receipt of the Order of the Seraph.

Order of the Apollo

Baronial Arts Award

Established in 2005 by Baron Jason Thomas the Wanderer and Baroness Morgaine FitzStephen to recognize excellence in the Arts & Sciences. These awards are specific to one art, so it is possible to receive more than one Apollo.
Blazon: Gules, a lyre Or within two wings conjoined argent.
*Augmentation to the Order of Apollo: Given by Their Excellencies to those whose excellence in the Arts & Sciences has continued after initial receipt of the Order of Apollo.

Order of the Seraphic Star

Baronial Lifetime Service Award

This polling order was established in 1971 by Baron Sárkányi Gerö to recognize outstanding service to the Barony. When given, this very special award is bestowed at Angels Yule to recognize those who have served the Barony for many years.

Baronial Youth Award

Established in 2003 by Baron Jason Thomas the Wanderer & Baroness Morgaine FitzStephen to recognize service from the Barony’s youth members.
Blazon: Gules, a child’s head caboshed Or between two wings conjoined in lure argent.

Baronial Recognition of Excellence

Baronial Recognition Awared

Given at the Baron and Baroness’ discretion for special service or other noteworthy activities.
