Baronial Officers
Baron & Baroness
The Baron & Baroness are ceremonial roles reflecting the royal presence in the Barony. They are the face of Calafia, hosting our local events. The Baron & Baroness also work with their officers to ensure they can all do their jobs and are communicating effectively with one another.
Seneschal
Like a chapter president in the modern world, the office of the Seneschal oversees all administrative tasks within the Barony. They are also responsible for liaison between the Baronial offices and with other branches, public contacts, and Kingdom officers.
Exchequer

Arts & Sciences
This office facilitates the research, creative, artistic, and scientific work of the people of the Barony. They also arrange instruction at gatherings or events, including our monthly Arts & Sciences meeting.
Chatelaine
The Chatelaines welcome our Newcomers, and set up outreach to bring new members into the Society. If you have questions about starting out in a new SCA activity, these folks can help you figure out where to go.

Chronicler
Our newsletter is maintained by the Office of the Chronicler. They collect reports, photos, and art from the local populace to publish in the Serpent's Tongue.

Constable
The Office of the Constable keeps the peace and enforces regulations at sanctioned events, ensuring our populace stays safe and within the rules of the Society. They also keep track of Baronial Lost & Found.

Herald
Our Heralds run court at events, make announcements at events, help people reseach/register names and devices, and records awards and recognitions given during events.
Lysts
At Baronial Tournaments, the Office of the Lysts registers competitors, verifies waivers for marshals and fighters, arranges the order of combat for each round, and reports the results of combat-related activities at all sanctioned events.
Marshal
The Marshals support our martial activities by checking that participants’ equipment meets required safety standards, ensuring the activity's rules are being followed, keeping an eye out for safety issues for participants and spectators, and managing the conduct of the activity so that everyone involved can have a good time.
Social Media
Promoting and monitoring our Baronial Presence on any Social Media platform, this office strives to keep all content on those platforms polite, friendly, and within Baronial, Kingdom, and Society standards and guidelines.
Webwright
This office creates and maintains the Baronial webpage and the electronic accounts for the Baronial staff.
Deputy
Youth Activities
The Youth Activities office is responsible for non-martial activites for members of the populace under 18.

The Baronial Secretary documents meeting notes for our monthly Baronial Populace Meetings.
Court & Guard
The Baronial Court & Guard helps the Baron and Baroness with transporting and setting up the structures needed for local Court ceremonies and official visits to other territories, as well as attending Their Excellences during Court and at events.
