Greetings from The Arts & Sciences Steward. Whether you are a newcomer or an old timer, you’ll want to make sure to stop by the Arts & Sciences Area, and spend time with some of the most talented teachers and artisans of the Knowne World. We are very excited to present three full days of classes, hands-on workshops, and demos. Be sure to stop by the Artisans’ Showcase on Saturday morning 10am – 12pm, to meet some of the Knowne World’s finest artisans and ask them questions about their work. Leave one of your own special tokens behind, to show them your appreciation!
Check the board at the Arts & Sciences Pavilion to see the class lists. Sign-up for classes begins at 9 am on Thursday, at the Arts & Sciences table.
To see classes already scheduled, check out the Class page.
Please note for A&S Classes per Society A&S Law:
Each teacher is responsible for ensuring that the proper and appropriate safety equipment standard (e.g., fire extinguishers, goggles, gloves, closed-toed shoes, and so forth) for the art form being taught is in place, and that all necessary safety precautions are adhered to in the class. The Arts & Sciences staff, the kingdom or local Seneschal, the Event Stewards, a Constable, or a designated deputy of one of these, has the authority to stop a class if safety concerns are raised.
Please note for Populace of GWW per GWW Staff:
Arts & Sciences electricity is available ONLY for classes. Generated power can be unpredictable, so any class equipment using the provided electricity is at the teacher’s own risk. GWW will not be responsible for any damage or loss of equipment. No private electronics (i.e. cell phones, cameras, laptops etc.) may be recharged at A&S.
We look forward to seeing you!
