In recognition of Gyldenholt’s 44th Anniversary, please join us in “A Celebration of Orange.” As part of the day’s festivities, Baron Jens and Baroness Ida welcome everyone to participate in the fun of eating, wearing, or trying to rhyme with the theme of the day.
SCHEDULE:
8:00am – Site opens for setup
9:00am – Gate opens
10:00am/Their Majesties’ pleasure – Opening court
15 minutes after court – Lists close
4:00pm – Closing court
5:00pm – Site closes

ARTS AND SCIENCES & BARDIC COMPETITIONS:
Entries should reflect the event theme in some way, and have been made within the last year. Bring your entry to the Arts Ramada for judging by Their Excellencies and a select panel of experts. If you have a bardic entry, please notify the event staff immediately after Opening Court so your performance can be scheduled.
EVENT REGISTRATION:
Adult Event Registration, $15.00. Adult Member Discount Event Registration, $10.00. Children under 18 are guests of the Barony. We do ask that all parents please come and sign the appropriate forms at gate. Please make checks payable to “SCA, Inc./Barony of Gyldenholt.”
SITE INFORMATION:
Pavilion space is somewhat limited at the site. Groups and individuals must contact the event stewards no later than Friday, June 16th with the dimensions of their pavilion. Eric-side priority will be given to Royal and Baronial pavilions. Some overflow space (with varying degrees of eric view) may be available for those who do not reserve ahead of time.
SITE RESTRICTIONS:
Per Costa Mesa Parks and Rec., pavilion stakes, portable holes, etc. may not penetrate deeper than 6″ below the surface of the grass; please be mindful. This is a dry site. Pets are welcome on a leash. Unfortunately, merchanting is not allowed.

DIRECTIONS:
Take your favorite route to I-405 in Costa Mesa and exit at Fairview Road, headed south. Take Fairview a little more than 1.25 miles to Arlington Drive and turn left. Take Arlington a little less than 3/4 of a mile to Junipero Drive and turn left. The site will be a little way up on your left. NOTE: we are not at Gyldenholt’s traditional site of Cedar Grove Park!
