We would love to see it! All entries will be featured in either the printed or virtual Gatebook, with one lucky artisan\u2019s work as our cover!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"> <\/p>\n<p>If this sounds like something you\u2019d like to contribute to, here are the competition details!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/p>\n<li>Deadline for Submissions is Monday, April 13th 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contestants may submit one or two versions of the piece. The first must be black and white, the other can be full color. If contestants submit a full color piece, that one will be used in the digital gatebook, otherwise the black and white one will be used (and may be modified\/colorized).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Art size should be at least 30cm high by 21cm wide for front cover page submissions, or 30cm high by 42cm wide for double page (front &amp; back cover) submissions. If submitting a front &amp; back piece, the format is back page (left)-front page (right).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Image files should be at least 300dpi and can be any standard image format (JPG, PNG, etc). Err on the side of higher quality\/less compression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The art needs to work within the theme of the event \"<span>Folklore and Mythology<\/span>\" and be family friendly. It also must not contain any copyrighted elements\/characters\/images. Any symbols used in the artwork will be checked against the Global Extremist and Anti-Defamation League symbol databases. Any submission with offensive symbology will be disqualified and forwarded to the Seneschal for further investigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The artwork should either include the following: \"The Barony of Calafia Presents Potrero War 2026\" and \"May 21st-25th 2026\" in a fairly large and easy-to-see format, or it should have enough open space for that information to be added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Artist waivers must be signed for anyone submitting artwork.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Images may be altered or modified as necessary to fit with gatebook requirements.
