Welcome to Calafia!<\/h1>

We are a branch of the\u00a0<\/span>Society for Creative Anachronism<\/a>\u00a0(SCA), an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of the medieval and renaissance periods.<\/span>

Our Barony is part of the\u00a0<\/span>Kingdom of Caid<\/a>, whose modern boundaries include southern California, southern Nevada, and Hawaii.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Barony of Calafia's modern boundaries includes San Diego and Imperial counties.<\/span><\/p>\n

We seek to learn about the beauty and chivalry of our past and to share with others the history of medieval Europe. We re-create the fun parts, like the feasts, costumes, and sword fighting ...<\/p>\n
